Lifting of the suspension of the delivery contract for the South Stream pipeline project

EUROPIPE GmbH, a 50/50 joint venture of the Salzgitter Group and AG der Dillinger Hüttenwerke, has received the information from Amsterdam-based South Stream Transport B.V. that the suspension announced on December 17, 2014 concerning the contract for the delivery of steel tubes for the South Stream pipeline has been lifted with immediate effect. Negotiations on scheduling the process of delivering the volume still outstanding of more than 150,000 tons are to be held at short notice.

The positive impact on the Salzgitter Group's earnings is not yet quantifiable, but should fall within the range of the forecast issued on April 29, 2015 for the Group's results in the financial year 2015.
