Peiner Träger GmbH introduces scrap surcharge

Peiner Träger GmbH, Peine, (PTG) announces that it will reintroduce a scrap surcharge for the company's products from September 1, 2013.

The scrap surcharge, which is based on market price trends for steel scrap and consequently represents a variable component of sales prices, was discontinued at the end of 2010. PTG will announce the precise modalities of the new price structuring in mid-August.

Peiner Träger GmbH is a subsidiary of the Salzgitter Group and produces steel section products in a broad size range from 100% scrap steel.
