Salzgitter AG at leading trade fairs

Intensive dialog with customers and partners at the Hannover Messe and Tube in Düsseldorf

The Salzgitter Group and its companies will be showing their colors at the key trade fairs this spring. Both the Hannover Messe and Tube in Düsseldorf will be taking place from April 24 through to April 28, 2006. “For the Salzgitter Group, these two trade fairs represent the ideal communication platforms for dialoging with customers and partners,“ explained Bernd Gersdorff, Head of Corporate Communication at Salzgitter AG.

Hannover Messe
Under the umbrella of this year’s Hannover Messe, a total of 10 different leading trade fairs will be taking place. The Salzgitter Group will be welcoming fairgoers at Subcontracting in Hall 5, as well as at the newly established Pipeline Technology in Hall 6. The “Steel Day“, which is held on the Tuesday of the Fair event, marks the most important Salzgitter presentation in Hanover. Branch professionals and Salzgitter customers will meet, mingle and exchange experience at Pavilion P32.
At this year’s Subcontracting, a number of Group companies will be presenting projects that exemplify the manner in which system solutions are developed in close cooperation with customers.
At the new Pipeline Technology, the focus is firmly on the entire pipeline value creation chain. Special emphasis is on the aspects of plant, facility and operational safety. Salzgitter Mannesmann Forschung GmbH is playing the leading role in the conception and presentation of the Group’s products and services.

Tube in Düsseldorf
At this year’s trade fair presentation in Düsseldorf, the Mannesmann brand name will be taking center stage. Spreading out across the Group’s 420 square meter area stand in Hall 4, the entire product range will be showcased, from precision tubes to medium diameter line pipes and on to large diameter pipes. In addition, the Tubes Division companies will also be presenting their portfolio of services revolving around steel tubes.
