Salzgitter AG’s Supervisory Board grants leave to Peter-Jürgen Schneider at his own request in view of the state parliamentary election in Lower Saxony

The Supervisory Board of Salzgitter AG agreed to Peter-Jürgen Schneider’s request to be granted leave from his position as Executive Board member and Head of Personnel and Services until January 21, 2013 at its meeting today. Mr. Schneider made the request in view of his nomination to Stephan Weil’s shadow cabinet and the ongoing activities prior to the state parliamentary election in Lower Saxony on January 20, 2013. Mr. Schneider’s duties will be performed by his designated successor, Mr. Michael Kieckbusch, during his absence.
