Ilsenburger Grobblech GmbH (ILG), Ilsenburg
ILG delivers around 800,000 tons of plate a year in around 350 steel grades, thicknesses from 6 - 175 mm, and a maximum unit weight of 28 tons perfectly customized to suit the quality requirements of customers all over the world. With special requirements profiles in mind, ILG has developed its branded BRINAR®, MAXIL® and RESTIL® steels that impress with optimal steel properties for their respective application areas.

Salzgitter Mannesmann Precision (SMP)
Seamless and welded precision steel tubes manufactured by Salzgitter Mannesmann Precision are used in the automotive and energy sectors and in industry at large. SMP develops and manufactures welded-drawn and seamless-drawn precision steel tubes for automotive light-weight construction. Salient examples include diesel injection systems, high-precision transmission shafts, sophisticatedly processed camshafts and piston rod tubes (added value products). Low-temperature precision steel tubes ensure the necessary safety in cylinder construction, whether for mobile cranes or construction machinery and, in particular, for use under varying climatic conditions. In the energy industry, drill rods (Drillmax) are used in geological drilling.
