Hoesch Spundwand und Profil GmbH (HSP) and Peiner Träger GmbH (PTG) now selling their sheet piling products through their own sales organizations again

The Salzgitter Group is Germany's largest manufacturer of sheet piling products which are mainly used in harbor and civil engineering. The subsidiaries operating in this segment are HSP Spundwand und Profil GmbH (HSP) and Peiner Träger GmbH (PTG), located in Dortmund and Peine respectively.

In the last eight years sales were conducted exclusively through the ThyssenKrupp GfT Bautechnik GmbH trading company. HSP and PTG have now decided to sell their sheet piling products through their own sales organizations again, with immediate effect.

The Salzgitter Group has invested considerable amounts in developing sheet piling production at both sites. As a result, the rolling mill in Dortmund can now be supplied with feedstock from Peine, and HSP’s product portfolio has been extended, especially in the Z section segment that is meeting with strong global demand.

Both companies are convinced that proximity to the markets and stronger customer retention harbor significant potential for reinforcing and expanding their market position based on these investments.
